So it looks like the latest entry in a string of Asian eateries that have tried to make a go of the old Calvin’s space on Palmer Avenue has shuttered.
We honestly can’t even remember the name of the latest one – they never changed the Onn’s Chinese signage from the previous owner, but in any case, the point is moot, as the doors have been closed for several days now. Let's pray for anything but an Asian-fusion to give it a go next.
Meanwhile, , which has continued to thrive as the village’s only Mexican, is offering customers a “Guest Appreciation” discount of 10% on dine-in orders through Sept. 15 – visit their website (and click through the rotating home page features) to find the discount.
