About Town: Fashion, Jigsaws, and Jazz in Bronxville

Fashion's Night Out in Bronxville, library hosts puzzlers and West Center Church Jazz Concert hits Bronxville this weekend.

 

School’s back in session, summer weekend migrations to the Hamptons are over, and things are getting lively in the Village starting now.

Tonight, and , two of the most popular boutiques in town, will stay open late – until 8pm, for  Fashion’s Night Out – a worldwide shopping event.

Both shops will have giveaways and refreshments, and Weezie D. will have a DJ while employees give out free makeup applications.  So get dolled up, leave the kids at home with dad, and head out after work tonight to partake in the fun.

This Saturday, the will host a Jigsaw Puzzle extravaganza from 11am until 4pm – refreshments will be served, and there will be tons of puzzles for all ages from 3 and up.

We’ll do you a favor and keep our kleptomaniac two-year-old away so that some of the puzzles actually get finished.  The event will be held in the Children’s Room on the second floor.

Next Friday, Jazz aficionados will want to be at to hear vocal performances by Alayne Faraone and David Coss.  The show starts at 7:30pm, and will be followed by a wine receptions.  The suggested donation is $10. 

So, summer may be over, but things are heating up in Bronxville.  We’ll see you about town this weekend.
