Four Days to Go in KidsOutAndAbout's 2014 Survey! Here Are Some Preliminary Category Results!

There's still time to encourage your fans to vote in Westchester's 2014 Top 20 Places to Take Kids survey!


Our Top 20 page is the primary way new readers find out about us when they search for places to take kids in the Westchester area... so winning a spot on this fantastic page is valuable, indeed! Here are some rankings as of 7am, June 17, 2014:

• Favorite indoor play center: WeeZee World is currently in first place, then LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester, Bounce U - Elmsford, and Grand Prix New York.

• Favorite place to have fun outside: Playland Amusement is in the lead, followed by Bear Mountain State Park, Quassy Amusement Park in CT, and Croton Point Park.

• Favorite kid-friendly museum: Museum of Natural History - NYC is in front, then Bear Mountain State Park Trailside Museum & Zoo, Hudson River Museum & Andrus Planetarium, and Katonah Museum of Art.

• Favorite nature center: Greenburgh Nature Center has the lead, then Teatown Lake Reservation, Rockefeller State Park Preserve, and Trailside Museum and Zoo at Bear Mountain State Park.

• Favorite farm: Muscoot Farm has a serious lead, followed by Stone Barns Center, Hilltop Hanover Farm, Stuart's Farm, andHarvest Moon Farm and Orchards.

• Favorite professional sports team: New York Yankees is in first place at this point, then New York Mets, and Hudson Valley Renegades.

• Favorite performing arts venue: Tarrytown Music Hall holds the lead, then Westchester Broadway Theatre, Yorktown Stage, and Emelin Theatre.

• Favorite place for sports education: Gymnastics City is currently in first place, followed by the YMCA, Westchester Skating Academy, House of Sports, and Club Fit.

• Favorite place for arts education: KidzArt is in the lead, then Broadway Training Center of Westchester, ArtsWestchester, Garrison Art Center, and Clay Art Center
