WSJ: 'Tiny Tuckahoe Keeps Pace With Neighbors'

In a recent article profiling the Village, the Wall Street Journal describes Tuckahoe as having many of the amenities of the higher-end communities nearby, but with a lower price tag.

 

Many who live in Tuckahoe say that they would not trade where they live for any place in the world, citing things such as accessibility to Manhattan and sense of community as values to be honored and protected.

In a recent Wall Street Journal article, the Village was put on display, being profiled in a way that showcases the parks, schools, home prices and other areas that make up the overall quality of life in the village.

"A lot of times people look at Scarsdale or Bronxville because they're more widely recognized. Tuckahoe is a little bit of a sleeper because it's so tiny," says Nina Betancourt, manager of Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty's Scarsdale office. "It's highly affordable compared to those surrounding areas."
