Back to School: Want to Blog on Patch?

With school back in session this week, now is the perfect time to share your insights and perspective on the myriad of issues that surround education in Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe.

As you may already know, Patch bloggers have descended upon cyberspace and locally, Bronxville-Eastchester Patch has seen bloggers from all walks of life, all ages, blogging about their personal life, local topics and even marketing their business through blog entries.

Patch is an excellent place to blog because you already have a build-in audience of faithful Patch readers, who welcome local voices that have an opinion on local issues and that can offer a way to increase community awareness in our area.

As the 2012-2013 school year begins, I would like to make a formal request for bloggers, specifically parents, PTA members, teacher and others who are involved with our youth.

Using Patch to share a local perspective from Bronxville, Eastchester or Tuckahoe about our kids, our teachers, our parents and our community as a whole would be a wonderful asset to the site and one that I would hope many of you would take advantage of.

Are there PTA members out there who would like to spotlight the many extracurricular activities that take place throughout the school year?

Any teachers in Bronxville-Eastchester who would like to chronical their experiences inside the classroom and their student's achievements?

Are there any parents who have something to share about their experiences raising their kids in the Bronxville, Eastchester or Tuckahoe school system or who would like to offer perspective now that your son or daughter has graduated and moved onto college?

All of you have potential to be a great voice on Patch.  If you are interested in blogging, email me at josh.semendoff@patch.com and I will gladly discuss ideas on how to get you started blogging on Patch.

You can also sign up to begin blogging today by clicking here.
