Fundraising Funeral Costs for the Man Who Died Waiting in the ER

Jon Verrier, 30, of Eastchester was found dead at Saint Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx after showing up in the Emergency Room reportedly complaining of a rash and waiting eight hours for treatment that never came.

"Although an investigation is underway, we are appealing for help now! We need the hospital to release the body and pay for the funeral and necessary expenses that are involved. We need your help right away, to be able to bring Jon home so that we can begin the grieving process and have some closure," his brother Charles posted on GoFundMe.
