Music for a While

Soprano, Catherine Forbes, accompanied by Eric Malson on piano will perform in concert in the sanctuary of West Center Congregational Church, 101 Pondfield Road West, Bronxville, on Sunday, November 10 at 2 PM.  The concert "is about journeys", says Ms. Forbes.  "I wanted to do a concert to sing some of my favorite music and, at the same time provide folks the opportunity to have an hour of respite in our beautiful space."  Her favorites include Quatorze Airs Espagnols Anciens by Joaquin Nin, Quand je fus pris au pavillon by Reynaldo Hahn, Pampamapa by Carlos Guastavino, Opus 13 by Samuel Barber and Four Last Songs by Richard Strauss.
