Touch-A-Truck Event:  A Hands-On Family Event for Kids of All
Ages

Tuckahoe,
NY – What kid wouldn’t love to climb aboard a bulldozer, fire truck or
ambulance?  The Junior League of
Bronxville’s Touch-A-Truck event provides an opportunity for children to get
hands on with a variety of vehicles-public service, construction, utility,
landscaping, transportation, antique cars-all in one place. The Junior League
of Bronxville (JLB) will hold its 4th Annual Touch-A-Truck family event,
Saturday, October 5, 2013, from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, at the Immaculate
Conception School Field located at 53 Winterhill Road and White Plains Road
(Rte 22) in Tuckahoe, New York.

“Touch-A-Truck
gives the JLB an opportunity to bring families from every town in our service
area together and allows young people the freedom to explore a variety of
vehicles in one big community gathering,” said TAT Committee Co-Chair Eileen
Palma. “Children will be able to climb on and ask questions about the vehicles
and equipment and learn how these machines help us and our community,” said TAT
Co-Chair Nicole Smith.  Bouncy
houses, crafts, and kid-friendly food will round the event out to make it a
truly exciting day.

Tickets
for Touch-A-Truck are available at www.jlbronxville.org or at the door. The cost
is $10 for an individual ticket ($15 at the door) or $30 for a family of
four.
