"Raising a Confident Reader"

Join us when experienced learning specialist, Carolyn Polchinski, M.S.Ed., presents her parent workshop, "Raising a Confident Reader". Professor Polchinski will discuss her innovative approaches to teaching reading to children and share hands-on strategies to implement at home. She empowers children to become independent readers and be rewarded with pride in achievement. On Jan 9th, come and learn how she does it.

An experienced Clinical Professor of Reading and Literacy Education, Carolyn is the founder of "Confident Readers" in Scarsdale. She strives to instill in children a love of reading by nurturing individual strengths, targeting instruction to individual needs, and setting concrete goals for success.

Carolyn’s expertise in supporting children with individualized reading and writing instruction has led to the development of a thriving private practice, where services include support for children and adolescents with A.D.H.D. and executive function deficits.
