Bronxville Historical Conservancy Brendan Gill Lecture

National Book Award winner and best-selling author Nathaniel Philbrick will give the 16th annual Brendan Gill Lecture for the Bronxville Historical Conservancy on Friday evening March 7th at 8 p.m. at the Sommer Center at Concordia College. Philbrick will talk about his most recent book, Bunker Hill: A City, a Siege, a Revolution, which chronicles the years 1771-1776 in the cradle of the American Revolution. Critics have called Bunker Hill "popular history at its best," and have dubbed Philbrick an author with "a fine sense of the ambitions that drive people in war and politics." The lecture is free and open to the public.
