Winterfest Hits Tuckahoe This Weekend

The annual event will usher in the holiday season with music, ice skating, food and the annual tree lighting.

This weekend will be a big one for bringing in the holiday season in our area as both Bronxville and Tuckahoe will be holding events that will be fun for the kids and make you feel like a kid as well.

On Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1 - 2, the village of Tuckahoe will be having its annual Winterfest event in Depot Sq.

Beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday, there will be holiday music and ice skating in the square and kids are encouraged to bring their own skates. Then at 6 p.m., the Village's holiday tree lighting will take place with local dignitaries on hand for the festivities.

On Sunday, kids will once again have an opportunity to do some ice skating in Depot Sq. as well as get their picture taken with Santa, live reindeer and even hayrides.  The festivities will take place from noon - 5 p.m.

The Winterfest celebration is being sponsored by the Generoso Pope Foundation and the Village of Tuckahoe.
