Wet Weather, Snowfall on the Way for Eastchester, Bronxville & Tuckahoe

Heavy snowfall is headed for the region Friday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe will likely get some snow Friday night, according to the National Weather Service—not much in the way of accumulation, but strong winds combined with snowfall could bring blizzard-like conditions.

Cloudy skies and relatively mild temperatures on Thursday will give way to some light snow Friday morning, mixed with rain in the afternoon. Then temperatures drop to the mid-to-low 20s and precipitation turns to all snow by Friday night.

The NWS has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Friday night.

Here's the NWS forecast for Friday:

Snow is likely before noon, then rain, with a high near 39 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch are possible.

Friday night likely brings rain and snow, becoming all snow after 9 p.m. The skies are mostly cloudy, with a low around 25 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent, and new precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch are possible.
