Wanted: Valentine's Day Memories, Good and Bad

We want you to share stories of love and love lost with the community this Valentine's Day.

Bronxville-Eastchester-Tuckahoe Patch is looking forward to celebrating Valentine's Day, but we need your help!

We're hoping to hear from as many Eastchester, Tuckahoe and Bronxville residents as possible, and share stories of love and love lost with the community.

Whether you met your husband or wife in the halls of Eastchester High School or tied the knot at St. Joseph's Church or had a terrible Valentine's Day date at a local restaurant, we'd love to hear from you.

If you're willing to share a memory or two, email Chris.McHugh@Patch.com.

Several years ago, I was dating someone that had to be careful with his spending. He was visiting from England and when he saw a notice in the window of a local restaurant describing a special Valentine Dinner, he booked it as a surprise. The way it was worded, he thought (don't remember the exact price) the cost per couple was $65.00. After we'd eaten a somewhat average meal and had one glass of mediocre Champagne each, they presented him with the bill. It was $65 per person. I felt terrible for him, but he wouldn't let me share in the cost.
