Rag-A-Muffin Parade Brings Smiles to Eastchester

Many of Eastchester's youth participated in the Town's annual parade last week just before Hurricane Sandy moved into our area.

The following was submitted by the Town of Eastchester regarding the Town's Rag-A-Muffin Parade.

On Oct. 28 at 2 p.m., over 400 youngsters gathered on the front lawn of the Eastchester Middle School for the Town of Eastchester’s Rag-A-Muffin Parade.

Participants enjoyed a fun filled walk in costume down Route 22 to Eastchester Town Hall.

At Eastchester Town Hall, each participant received a goodie bag that could be used for trick or treating and donuts and juice sponsored by the Eastchester Little League.

Also while at Town Hall participants and their families enjoyed getting fake tattoos from the Eastchester Tuckahoe Chamber of Commerce. Costumes were judged in several categories and trophies were award.
