Since Tuesday, Lake Isle Country Club in Eastchester has been helping residents who have lost power in Eastchester and the surrounding areas by providing a warm place to go that has electricity.
"Showers are available and all you need are your toiletries and your own towel," stated Patty George from Supervisor Colavita's office in Eastchester.
There are limited electrical outlets available for charging cell phones and laptops and overnight stays are available on a limited basis.
Lake Isle also asks that you do not bring your pets to the shelter. For more info, you can contact Lake Isle at 914-337-4975.
