A five-car accident on the Hutchinson River Parkway caused big problems for commuters this morning. Drivers trying to get past the accident scene had to pass on the shoulder because authorities had to close two lanes down.
The accident happened at 6 a.m. on the Parkway next to Exit 18, which is Mill Road. The accident backed up traffic all the way to Exit 23 in Mamaroneck.
There is no word on injuries at this time from authorities.
