New Gluten-Free-Food Discussion Group to Hold Meeting on March 3 at Mrs. Green's in Tarrytown

A group is forming that should be of interest to anyone interested in keeping abreast of new gluten-free-food developments.

"Any matters concerning gluten-free life may be discussed at the meetings including new products, recipes, eating out at restaurants or just day-to-day living with gluten intolerance," said Amanda Devens, a nutritionist at Mrs. Green's in Tarrytown.

"Meeting with a group can build a strong community and bring new ideas to the table that might not have been thought of otherwise," she said.

"Cooking demonstrations are also planned in the future to test different gluten-free recipes and products," she mentioned.

Devens has a BS degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta with a major in dietetics.

The meetings will be scheduled monthly. The first meeting will take place on Monday, March 3 at 6 p.m. in the community room at Mrs. Green's, 45 N. Broadway in Tarrytown. RSVP with an e-mail to Devens, at adevens@mrsgreens.com, if interested in attending.
