Koala Park Daycare Celebrates its 1st Year of Life!

It was really nice to get all the parents together for a Date Night out in Tuckahoe. We wanted to acknowledge our 1 year anniversary in a different way, so we came up with the idea or theme of Date Night. In a nutshell, we offered free child-care from 6-8PM to all enrolled families so that the parents and couples could enjoy a night out with each other and not have to worry about hiring babysitters or doing background searches on nanny's they do not know or trust. Our Koala Park Daycare families were absolutely thrilled with the idea from the beginning, and all RSVP'ed immediately with a unanimous YES!

In addition, because we were celebrating our 1st year in business and our 1 year of success in the industry, we thought it would be nice to also sponsor the dinner, as a way of saying Thank You for your business and trust in us and our service. At the same time, we wanted to ensure that we were somehow giving back to our community, which is one of the pillars of our  foundation and strategy, so we reached out to local businesses to secure a dinner venue (MAMBO 64 on Main St.) and to buy the anniversary cake (Martines in Crestwood) , cupcakes (local Stop & Shop)and pizzas (Villagios on Main st) . It is very important to us to do this. We want to support our local community and we think this is a great way to do so!

While the parents enjoyed their night out and a yummy dinner at Mambo 64, the children attended a celebration of their own, along with my mom and our staff members. Back at Koala Park Daycare, we had pizza, cupcakes, dancing, reading, arts and crafts and a blow up bouncy castle! Lots of fun for all, indeed.

The event was a huge success, the parents were truly appreciative and very thankful. They LOVED date night and requested that we do this again....so it is in our future plans. We will start providing Date Night on a quarterly basis for now, while we pilot the program, as an added value to our service. This is our way of saying THANK YOU to all the families that believe in us, trust us and support our vision and business.

We are truly proud of what we have accomplished in such little time, the reputation we have developed for ourselves, the trust the parents have in us and the quality of service we provide, which speaks for itself.
