Weekend Planner: Farmers Markets & Classes

Here are a few events taking place around the Bronxville-Eastchester area. Be sure and add any local events we may have missed to our calendar!


Now that the weekend is upon us, here are a few family fun events happening in and around our area this weekend:

  • Fall registration is open at the Bronxville Adult School.  Register online at www.bronxvilleadultschool.org or call 914-793-4435 to register over the phone.  Catalogs are also available at the Bronxville Public Library or Village Hall.

Bronxville Farmers Market

  • Takes place every Saturday from now until Nov. 17 from 8:30am - 1 p.m. Stone Place at Paxton Avenue. Vendors offer fresh produce, including organic produce, pasture raised meats, and eggs, fish fresh from Montauk, honey, maple syrup, pickles, cheese, breads and baked goods.   • The farmers market begins can be found every Sunday through Nov. 23 and operates from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. The market takes place at Depot Sq. across from the .

Sounds like a great event Lisa, Riverdale is not too far a drive for us here in Westchester. Plus you can't beat some of the great food in that area of the Bronx like Liebman's Kosher Deli and the old reliable Tibbett Diner.
