New Executive Chef at Park 143 in Bronxville

Restaurant patrons of Park 143 in Bronxville may notice some new menu items now that new Executive Chef Jason Holmberg has taken over operations in the kitchen as he brings over 15 years of experience to the Village.

Holmberg has built his reputation by working with some of the top chefs around the country, including some of the most prestigious restaurants, such as Wolfgang Pucks and BLT Steak.   

“We are thrilled to have Jason at Park 143 Bistro,” said owner Wayne Chessler who continued that, “Jason brings a wealth of experience with him and his focus is on fresh flavors by combining taste and texture in his dishes, he has already wowed our customers.”  

Park 143 Bistro has expanded their menu to include signature entrees such as the Roasted Pork Chop with onion puree, mustard seed and cherry sauce and a fish of the day special. 

The focus will continue to be the small plate, tapas style menu, allowing guests to have a sampling of made to share dishes such as jalapeno shrimp and grits and tempura squash blossoms.

Holmberg prides himself on being a hands-on chef who gets involved with every aspect of the culinary experience and his worldly travels have influenced his technique. 

“I am so excited to be part of Park 143 Bistro” said Holmberg. 

“My culinary style is a New American, French fusion approach with Asian influences and I look forward to creating new, fresh, innovative dishes and giving guests a creative dining experience.”  

Holmberg, a Texas native, likes to intersperse his dishes with a bit of Southwestern flair and he now enjoys living in Westchester with his three year old daughter.
