When patients arrived for their dentist appointment on Thursday at in Tuckahoe, most likely the last thing they expected was to find Magician John Turdo standing there, with his handlebar mustache and large booming voice.
Dazzling both kids and adults, Turdo's display of magic certainly took away whatever nervousness kids may have been feeling about their visit to the dentist and Turdo says that it's all in a days work.
"I did my first trick when I was 13 years-old and I've been doing magic ever since," stated Turdo who attempted to mesmerize as many kids and adults in the dentist waiting room as possible before they were called in for their check-up.
"I love it when a six year-old approaches me and tells me that he or she does magic," says Turdo, continuing, "I then ask them for how long and they tell me their whole life!" he joked.
