Cross County Lights Their Holiday Tree This Saturday

On top of the annual lighting of the malls' holiday tree, 200 shoppers will be eligible to receive a free Christmas Tree of their own courtesy of the Cross County Shopping Center.

After all of the storms and other events that have seemed to disrupt daily life here in Bronxville-Eastchester, many residents are ready for the holidays to begin and to start enjoying time with their family and the much anticipated shopping that is associated with the holiday season.

On Saturday Nov. 17, Cross County Shopping Center will be lighting their Holiday Tree at 6 p.m.

At 4 p.m. however, just behind the Gap Store, the first 200 customers who get in line will receive a Christmas Tree of their own for the holiday season, courtesy of Cross County and their way of saying "happy holidays".

Musical entertainment and of course Santa will be on hand when the 40 foot tree is lit and there also will be strolling entertainers around the mall and face painting.

Santa will be available all holidays season for photos with the kids and the hours will be Monday thru Saturday from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.

All kids who visit Santa will receive a free gift that can be opened now or perhaps put under the tree for Christmas morning.
