For more than a generation, residents who live in the famed area of "Yonksville", the area of the village of Bronxville where borderlines become blurred between the Village and Yonkers have been holding Gino's Pizzeria & Restaurant in high esteem, ordering countless numbers of slices and pizza pies.

Some prefer the pizzeria because of it's remote location from the congestion of downtown Bronxville but most return to Gino's because of the quality of the food and the people who work there.

As a kid, I spent many days inside Gino's and one of my favorite things about them is on the outside of the building. Upon arriving at the pizza place, customers are greeted with their signature white facade and unmistakable signage that in my opinion, adds great character and distinction to the place.

Not only do they do catering, but they offer an expansive dining area, with Italian favorites on the menu as well as new dishes such as Chicken Maria, Grilled chicken with cannellini beans, sun-dried tomatoes and basil in a white
wine garlic sauce.

Also there's the Chicken Napoletano, that comes with spinach, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella in a glazed balsamic sauce.

One customer commented on yelp.com that she has been eating at Gino's nearly her entire life.

"I grew up on Gino's and they instilled in me a good appreciation for good pizza. Good and reliable (plus they'll put up with my family's elaborate half-this topping, half-that topping pizzas).  The last time I was there I also tried the garden salad, which had a nice, zippy dressing."

Open seven days a week, Gino's hours are Monday - Saturday from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. and Sundays from noon - 10 p.m.
