Perhaps garnering inspiration for their name from the CBS hit t.v. show Two Broke Girls, owners Deborah Scanell and Gail Testa have named their latest venture 2 Broke Girls Consignment Boutique, which will be located inside of Scanell's Aspire Boutique Hair Salon and Barber Parlor on Main st. in Tuckahoe.
"It's like going shopping in your girlfriend's closet," said Scanell as she pointed out the myriad of collections and treasures waiting to be bought from women's apparel to accessories, shoes, soaps and more.
Customers can either buy or sell items at the consignment boutique and all items are considered slightly used or in many cases, brand new.
"I've always shopped a great deal at consignment shops in the past and loved the deals I found," remarked Testa who continued that, "when people cannot afford to buy retail, they look to consignment stores and the great part is that there are always new items coming in for people to purchase."

Scanell has now created a one-stop shop of sorts in Tuckahoe.
"You can shop, get your hair done and grab a bite to eat and a drink," she said, referring to Cafe 72, her coffee and cafe shop that resides next door where customers can enjoy anything from sandwiches and yogurts to hot drinks and iced coffee.
