Dog of the Week: Chip
Age: 3 Years-old
Breed: Pitbull
Bio: Having learned that Chip is hearing impaired, the shelter hopes to find him a loving home where he can become a part of a new family. Chip loves to play with everyone from other dogs to cats and especially people. This 60lb boy is neutered and would do best in a home where someone can perhaps teach him sign language and perhaps even have another dog as a friend.
Dog of the Week: Dusty
Age: 2 Years-old
Breed: Brindle Amstaff
Bio: This tough lil gal was living on the streets of Yonkers and also had a litter of puppies to which a kind stranger found the family and brought them to the shelter. Dusty is a shy dog but would still enjoy a home especially with someone who lives alone and is seeking a life-long companion.
Cat of the Week: Andy
Age: 2 Years-old
Bio: Andy is a tabby cat that is very mellow and pretty much likes to relax, look out the window on the world and enjoy himself. Neutered and ready to go home, he would love to meet you this weekend!
Cat of the Week: Chelsea
Age: 1 Year-old
Bio: This cute petite Calico is only 7lbs and is a very independent kitty. If you already have a pet she will be fine but she does not like to be handled too often so she may fit best in a home with teens and up.
