Photo of the Day: Tuckahoe Sunset

Capturing the village sky.

After last week's Columbus Day finale in Tuckahoe, I was walking back into the hills as the sunset on the village below. The peaks of the houses silhouetted against the exploding sky were too much to resist—it was one of the best sunsets I've seen in months.

thank you Jay.. Tuckahoe my home town.. miss it..miss it.. miss it.. its charm is undeniable..great place to grow up... way before the Yuppies discovered it.. back in the day... ah.. such memories..

Jay, looks so much like the painting I have by Bruce Crane called "Autumn Twilight" that he painted while living in Bronxville. Same vivid colors. Joyce Balint
