Artist Ed Oberhaus will present a lecture/demonstration on his collection of Twelve Master Paintings.
During 2008 and 2009 Ed copied twelve master paintings starting with one of the world's masterpieces, the 34,000 year old Panel of the Lions from the Chauvet Cave. He worked forward and completed works by Duccio, Botticelli, Van Goyen, Boudin, Van Gogh, O'Keeffe, among others, and completed the series with a Picasso. The collection, having been shown several times in the local area, is now an informal lecture covering in detail the master artists, their eras, their techniques and their relationship to one another.
