Bronxville Women's Club Hosts Two Authors

Authors Jackie Kingon and Alexandra Burckhardt met with local residents, showcasing their latest works over afternoon Tea.

Once again, the provided residents with an opportunity to partake in the arts as authors Jackie Kingon and Alexandra Burckhardt met with local residents, sharing their experiences and works over a delightful afternoon of tea and poetry.

Burckhardt has been known for many poems such as "Navigate Life's Journey" and Kingon, author of "Chocolate Chocolate Moons", a comic mystery set in the future, tells the story of plus-sized Molly Marbles, who wins a scholarship to Armstrong University on the Moon, where her weight drops from 287 Earth pounds to 47.6 without so much as passing up a piece of pie.

"Everybody adores both Alexandra and Jackie," said Joyce Balint, Vice President for communications.

"They are both wonderful members who help an awful lot and they're always helping out, they don't just sit back, so it's good to do something for them."
