Photo Gallery: Eastchester and Tuckahoe Celebrate Memorial Day Parade

Eastchester and Tuckahoe held their annual Memorial Day Parade Sunday, saluting veterans and civil servants.

Eagles, tigers, scouts and daisies were out in full force Sunday as the Town of Eastchester and Tuckahoe celebrated their annual Memorial Day parade.

Though it was held a week before the actual holiday, the festive event drew tons of spectators. The parade, marshaled by Battle of the Bulge veteran and former prisoner of war Michael Ottomano, began at the and proceeded through the town until reaching .

The parade featured the sounds of the Paris Island Marine Corp Band. Other bands that performed during the event included the Yonkers Military Band and the and l marching bands.

Members of the Eastchester Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion also took part in the parade, saluting the men and women of the armed forces and the town's civil servants.
