MLK Jr. Day: What's Open, What's Closed in Bronxville

The official observance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday today marks the celebration of his legacy, and also means several entities are closed as a result.

Today is a federal holiday so government offices are closed, including Bronxville Village Hall, Scarsdale Village Hall and others throughout the region. Additionally, public schools are closed throughout Westchester County, and garbage collection in most towns and villages is suspended today.

Libraries in the region, including in Bronxville and Scarsdale, are closed today, but many stores and businesses will be open, so call ahead to be sure.
