How to Blog on Bronxville Patch

Got something to say? Tell us in your very own Patch blog.

Bronxville-Eastchester Patch is always looking for more local voices to blog on our site. We want people who can riff on a variety of topics, share their personality and engage our Lower Hudson Valley community in discussions.

Patch is more than a news site, it's an online conversation about your community. And we want to hear your voice. Are you passionate about local issues? Do you want to share your newest recipes? Are you an expert craftsman or hobbyist who can share do-it-yourself tips? Are you a small business owner with insight into a particular field? Are you a student who wants to share your college experiences with your hometown? Can you just make us all laugh? Do you love taking photos around town? Then, we want to hear from you.

This isn't a reporting job. It's blogging. You write what you want to say when you want to say it and do it on your own schedule. You can post multiple times a day, once a week or several times a month. It's up to you!

Patch won't own what you post, so you can repost your entries to and from your Wordpress and Tumblr account. Posting on Patch is as easy as clicking the "Post on Patch" button here to get started.

I'm an author and enjoy blogging on PATCH. Great to have the local connection; but in addition, I can post the link in various places (e.g., listservs for readers and writers) and get readers outside the area too. In each post that I do, I talk about my own work but also give readers some general info or links that they might be able to use. If you're thinking about blogging on PATCH, I have three words of advice: Go for it.
