The Town of Eastchester's VFW awarded its annual scholarships to a number of deserving high school seniors. Bronxville's Amanda Austin, Eastchester's John Alkins, as well as Tuckahoe's Christopher Ushay and John Murphy were the scholarship recipients.
The scholarships were awarded during the Eastchester VFW post's annual meeting, where officers are sworn in for the 2013-2014 year.
