Developers of the ice rink planned to occupy a former warehouse on Marbledale Road along the Eastchester/Tuckahoe border are slated to begin construction next month, according to published reports.
The rink is being built by Home Ice, LLC, and it will rest inside a onetime auto warehouse at 200 Marbledale Road.
Organizers plan for a less-than-regulation size ice surface, which will be a partial hockey and figure skating training facility, and a space where people can learn how to skate.
