Bronxville's "Light Up the Town" Brings Holiday Delight

The "Light Up the Town" event attracted a crowd of about a hundred fans of Santa Claus.

The Bronxville Chamber's "Light Up the Town" drew dozens to the village's downtown. Bronxville Chamber Executive Director Susan Miele gave us the details.

This past weekend, the Bronxville Chamber of Commerce and The Village of Bronxville presented “Light Up the Town,” the annual Bronxville tree-lighting ceremony (view pictures on our Facebook page). The event attracted a crowd of about a hundred fans of Santa Claus, who was on hand to discuss wish lists and pose for photo ops.

The Concordia Conservatory Carolers wowed the audience with their angelic voices, Blue Moon Mexican Café served complimentary churros and hot chocolate, and Häagen-Dazs offered a 10% discount on all purchases in its shop. Many thanks go to our event sponsors, Joan Iacono, Esq, and Häagen-Dazs, and to the Village of Bronxville and Mrs. Morgan’s Flower Shop for making this beloved event possible. The Chamber also wishes to thank Kathleen Suss of Concordia Conservatory—not only for allowing her talented chanteuses to perform, but also for graciously offering to include the advertisement for this event in the program for Concordia’s production of Snowflake Has Its Day, which was held this past weekend to resounding success. Thanks also go to Sarah Reynolds of Citrine for accommodating Blue Moon in front of her shop.
