Bronxville Man Awarded by Gramatan Village

Bronxville's Jim Hudson will receive the prestigious J. Rockhill Gray Award from Gramatan Village. Hudson is being recognized for his dedication to serving our village.

The award will be presented at Gramatan Village's 4th annual May Magic Benefit. Gramatan Village helps people in the Bronxville area remain in their homes as they grow older.

The award that Hudson will receive was named to honor Judge J. Rockhill Gray, who was a founding member of the organization. Previous recipients of the J. Rockhill Gray Award are Mary Taylor Behrens, John Corry and Sarah Underhill.

"I am honored to be recognized by Gramatan Village for my community service," said Hudson. "I consider it a recognition of all volunteers who help to make our community the special place that it is and will remain with the help of organizations like Gramatan Village."

Hudson lives in the Village with his wife, Barbara. Their four children all went through the Bronxville school system. Hudson is on the Bronxville Board of Education, serving in his fifth year. He is also the Facilities Committee and as Liaison of the Board to the Bronxville School Foundation.

"We are lucky to live in a village with so many community-minded members who share their dedication, their time and their knowledge to help others locally, regionally, nationally and internationally," said Hudson.

The presentation of the J. Rockhill Gray Award will take place at the Siwanoy Country Club from 5-7 p.m on May 5. For more information on Gramatan Village and the event click here.
