Bronxville Jr. League Accepting Grant Applications

The Junior League says that the grants should be for the purpose of stemming hunger, improving nutrition or improving the health and welfare of women/girls.

If you're part of a tax-exempt non-profit, now is the time to submit an application for a grant from the Junior League of Bronxville. Organizations submitting an application must operate within the Bronxville-Eastchester-Mt. Vernon-Yonkers-Tukahoe area.

The Junior League says that the grants should be for the purpose of stemming hunger, improving nutrition or improving the health and welfare of women/girls.

"Our Community Grants are a wonderful resource for community non-profits," said Bronxville Junior League Vice President Erica Sevilla. "These grants provide support for small initiatives that have the potential to enrich lives and help make more of an impact in our service area. In the past the JLB has been able to provide grants to support daily hot soup for home-bound seniors, basketball camp scholarships, instruction in nutrition and healthy lifestyles for children, and nutritional supplements for cancer patients. As an organization we feel privileged to be able to help so many in our community."
