Black bears were reportedly sighted separately in Ardsley Tuesday and Wednesday, which prompted officials to issue a warning to residents, according to the Journal News.
One sighting occurred at the construction site of the former Water Wheel Restaurant, and the second occurred near residences on Concord Road. No injuries were reported.
Residents are advised not approach any bears they may encounter, but use loud noise to scare them off, according to the report.
