The next Good News Christian Coffee House will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014, featuring Diane McKoy and a Small Few. Deacon Training Session: Theology and Practice of Worship - An overview of the history of Christian worship and Lutheran practices, including practical experiences in assisting in a variety of worship settings ranging from traditional to contemporary and blended worship formats. Instructor: Rev. Dr. John Hannah. The Deacon Class will take place at Village Lutheran Church on Tuesday evenings: March 4, 11, 18, 25 and April 1 & 8 from 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. Cost: $225 for Deacon Students, $50 to Audit (For Deacons and Interested Laypersons).
