Tuckahoe Resident Helen Voris Celebrates 104th Birthday

The Fountains at RiverVue in Tuckahoe hosted a birthday party last week for resident Helen Voris on the occasion of her 104th birthday.  The room was crowded with well wishers including Eastchester Supervisor Anthony S. Colavita, Tuckahoe Mayor Steve Ecklond, Helen’s daughter Vicki Hanks and many longtime friends.   Helen has been a resident of Tuckahoe for over 60 years and an active member of the community.  She was instrumental in getting approvals for the Girl Scout Cabin on Highland Ave and is a Veteran of World War II.  She keeps herself busy with many of the activities the Fountains has to offer.
