Mrs. Gollenberg’s fourth grade class celebrated Thanksgiving early with a class feast. The delicious spread was sponsored by the Sahagian Family and provided by the Bronxville Field Club. The fourth graders were treated to all the classic holiday dishes including mashed potatoes, stuffing and of course turkey. The students shared what they were thankful for and discussed their own family traditions. “I am thankful for my family and friends.” “I am thankful for this delicious food.” “I am thankful for my dog and sister.”
The Thanksgiving festivities didn’t end there. The fourth graders also teamed up with their kindergarten buddies to create Thanksgiving inspired crafts. Using an apple and some edible materials, the fourth graders helped their little friends make treats they could bring home to their families. Smiles and giggles filled the room, when they all seen their completed masterpieces.
