Thanks to students of Nelson Mandela High School for participating in MLK Day of Service at a clean up project at Mount Vernon Animal Shelter on Saturday, January 18, 2014.  This was the fourth year The Volunteer Center of United Way planned service activities at community organizations where hundreds were again expected to take part in volunteer activities to honor the memory of Martin Luther King, Jr.
