Junior League of Bronxville's Holiday Coat and Gloves Drive: Over 700 Coats Collected for Community Service Associates (CSA) in Mount Vernon

On Friday, December 13, The Junior League of Bronxville (JLB) culminated its Holiday Coat Drive with a party and distribution of over 700 coats to men, women and children from the Mt. Vernon community.  This annual event benefits participants in programs run by Community Service Associates (CSA) of Mt. Vernon.  Adults and children alike received gently used coats, new hats and gloves from the JLB.  JLB had been collecting donations from the community at drop-locations located in Bronxville, Scarsdale, Tuckahoe, Eastchester, Mount Vernon and beyond from mid-November to mid-December.  This year, as in past years, the community was very generous, enabling the total to top 700 coats collected.  This event is anticipated each year by the CSA community and highlights the Holidays and the giving spirit of the season. The JLB and CSA are grateful to all who donated this year and every year.

JLB would like to thank CubeSmart of Tuckahoe for their generous donation of a storage cubicle throughout the drive and the many civic, commercial and retail partners which were collection points throughout the drive – The Avalon, Clothes Dr, Bronxville City Hall, Equinox Scarsdale, Bronxville Fitness Club, Gramatan Court, Bronxville Library, Horace Mann School, Bronxville School, Hudson Valley Bank, I Train with Juan @ Pyramid Squash,
Rev Fitness,
Starbucks - Bronxville & Tuckahoe, Stop-n-shop Eastchester,  Eastchester Value Drugs,  Bronxville Value Drugs, Weezie D Bronxville & Rye,
Wild Vine Wine and Liquor, Yoga Haven, Casa De Café, Immaculate Conception School and Spic N Span Cleaners for their hanger donations.
