Junior League of Bronxville: Little Volunteer, Big Impact
On Tuesday, January 28, The Junior League of Bronxville (JLB) had their Junior General Membership Meeting. This annual event invites League members and their children to attend a meeting together. The kids discussed the meaning of volunteerism while creating Valentines Cards for the seniors at Wartburg in Mt. Vernon. JLB members joining forces with their children is a great reminder that volunteering not only impacts our community, it also influences their own families.
In conjunction with the Junior GMM, Blue Moon in Bronxville sponsored a Community Night to benefit the JLB. JLB families had dinner at Blue Moon before heading to the event and 20% of Blue Moon’s profits will go to the JLB’s outreach programs and it’s main focus on stamping out hunger in Southern Westchester.
