Groom Spot Welcomes Reindeer to Fisher Ave.

Groom Spot Welcomes Reindeer to Fisher Ave.Tuckahoe, NY (December 15, 2013) – Only two months after making new furry friends on Fisher Avenue, the Crestwood section of Tuckahoe welcomed live reindeer to the neighborhood.  Holiday shoppers got a first-hand look at “Santa’s reindeer” on Saturday. Those in the area were delighted to meet the animals, listen to holiday music, take photos in “Santa’s Sleigh” and receive complimentary goodie bags for their pooches. The dog treats were distributed by Groom Spot owners, Julie and Larry, who recently opened their dog grooming salon at 3 Fisher Avenue.
“We love all animals, so of course we had to come visit the reindeer,” said Julie. On hand to give out the doggie treats was Groom Spot’s “mascot” Maeby. This rescue dog was adopted by Julie and Larry and can often been seen “hard at work” at Groom Spot. Maeby was on hand with her holiday shirt on Saturday. “We are excited to be a part of the Tuckahoe community, and look forward to attending and participating in the upcoming events in the area.”
