Anne Hutchinson Nominated for US Green Ribbon Schools Program

Anne Hutchinson is the only New York School nominated for US Green Ribbon Schools Program.

State Education Commissioner John B. King, Jr. announced yesterday that New York State has nominated one school for the U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools (ED-GRS) program. The nominee is Eastchester’s Anne Hutchinson School.

The prestigious ED-GRS program recognizes schools where staff, students, officials and communities have worked together to produce energy efficient, sustainable and healthy school environments and to ensure the environmental literacy of graduates.
