Bronxville Women's Club presented Trio Tartufo on Sunday, January 8

The second concert in the 2011-12 Midland Music Series was well attended at the Bronxville Women's Club on Sunday, January 8.  Trio Tartufo members Jessica Aura Taskov (flute), Veroslav Taskov (oboe) and Inesa Sinkevych (piano) gave a lively, French and French-inspired concert enjoyed by everyone in attendance.  Composers Paul Brantley and Daniel Felsenfeld were in the audience and gave short descriptions of their compositions before they were performed.  A donation from the ticket sales will be given to S.A.I.L. at Ferncliff Manor in Yonkers.  The final concert for the season will be on Sunday, February 5, where Yolanda Johnson will give a performance on Spirituals, in time for Black History Month.  The concert was videotaped and will be viewed on Bronxville Cable.
