As summer descends on the community, camp season swings into full gear. And on Monday, Bronxville Day Camp kicked off a five-week marathon of fun, typified by days at the pool, tennis matches, arts and crafts, sports and rainy-day activities.
At the end of opening day, Tom Blank, Bronxville Senior Day Camp Director and Coordinator-at-large sat down with Patch for a retrospective on his 26-year tenure, the camp's role in the community and what's in store for the rest of the season.
