Eastchester Police Searching for Burglary Suspect
Police are asking for your help in locating a man who they say burglarized an Eastchester home minutes ago.
Right now, Eastchester Police, along with other police departments, are searching for a burglary suspect. Authorities say that the burglary happened in the area of Stratford Road around 12:40 p.m., in the Green Knolls section of Eastchester.
The suspect is being identified as a Hispanic male who is about 40-years-old. He is wearing blue jeans, a black or navy-colored hoodie and Timberland-style boots.
He was last seen running towards the Leewood Golf Course/Bronx River Parkway area. At this time, investigators don't know if the suspect was alone.
Police are asking that people who live in and around the Green Knolls section of Eastchseter call them if they see someone fitting the description. Investigators are also asking residents avoid this area as their search continues.
